Upcoming Events:

July 13-27 – Model railroad show. The Klamath Rails model railroad club will stage a model train show inside the Klamath County Museum. Entry to the show is included with regular museum admission. Hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Families with special needs are welcome to see the train show between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14.

Aug. 11 – Perseid Meteor Shower Viewing. The gates at the Fort Klamath Museum will be open from 8:00 p.m. to midnight for viewing of the Perseid meteor shower. The museum is located on Highway 62, about 35 miles north of Klamath Falls.

Sept. 26 – Mining in the Oregon High Desert. The history of mining at various locations in south-central Oregon will be presented by Jeff LaLande at 7:00 p.m. in the back meeting room of the Klamath County Museum. Free admission.
